ABOUT FLATBED TRAILERS

Kaufman Trailers offers a comprehensive line of flatbed trailers. Our flatbed trailer family is divided into six styles. Our standard flatbed trailer lineup is built with GVW ratings ranging from 14,000 to 25,000 lb. Our heavy equipment flatbed trailers are pierced frame, airbrake models that go up to 62,000 GVWR. We are especially proud of our drop deck flatbed trailer line. These models feature high tensile, fabricated 24” main frames, and are the standard of the industry. Our paver flatbed trailers have heavy duty pierced main frame construction and spring assisted bi-fold 9’ ramps for easy loading of paver equipment. For really heavy hauling, we offer detachable gooseneck flatbed trailers in spring and air ride, up to 55-ton capacity. Every pintle-pull flatbed trailer model is also available with a gooseneck, in our gooseneck flatbed trailer family.

Flatbed Trailers – ALL Kaufman flatbed trailers are built with a high tensile (80ksi) I-beam mainframe. We special order an entire heat of high carbon steel directly from our steel mill supplier in order to have superior mainframe beams in every flatbed trailer we build! Single wheel flatbed trailers have 7,000 lb. axles with heavy-duty slipper spring suspension. An 8,000 lb. axle/17.5” tire upgrade is a popular option. Our 10,000 lb. axle, dual wheel, versions are among our best selling flatbed trailer models. These are available in a wide range of medium and heavy-duty versions. Swing-up loading ramps are standard on every flatbed trailer. A pop-up dovetail is a popular flatbed trailer option. Treated wood floor, a dovetail, stake pockets with rub rail, and a toolbox with lockable lid are always standard features on Kaufman flatbed trailers.

DELUXE Flatbed Trailers – Available in select models only, these flatbed trailer models combine ALL of our best features as standard equipment in a great value package. Included are: frame upgrades (pierced frame on dual wheel models), radial tires, closer cross member spacing, a U.S made sealed wiring harness, and lifetime LED lights to give you a great value flatbed trailer.

DELUXE Paver Flatbed Trailers – Our paver flatbed trailer line is specially engineered for the rigorous demands and special loading requirements of hauling paving equipment. We start with a high tensile pierced main frame, add 10,000 lb. dual wheel axles with radial tires, and incorporate a long dovetail with 9’ bi-fold spring assisted ramps for a long, gradual loading angle. Hydraulic loading ramps are available as an option on any paver flatbed trailer.

Heavy Equipment Flatbed Trailers – Our heavy equipment flatbed trailer line features Dexter air brake axles with 17.5” low profile radial tires and Hutchens suspension for a long lasting running gear. Pierced frame construction, oak flooring, toolbox with lockable lid, sealed wiring harness with rubber mounted lighting, and dovetail with spring assist loading ramps are standard features on this line of flatbed trailers.

Drop Deck Flatbed Trailers – Our drop deck flatbed trailer line starts with our basic mill beam model. Our DELUXE flatbed trailers feature high tensile, cambered, 24” fabricated mainframe beams. Dexter air brake axles with 17.5” low profile radial tires and Hutchens suspension provide a long lasting running gear. Pierced frame construction, oak flooring, sealed wiring harness with lifetime LED lighting, and dovetail with spring assist loading ramps are standard features on this line of flatbed trailers.

Gooseneck Flatbed Trailers – Kaufman’s flatbed trailer family is also available in gooseneck version, in our gooseneck flatbed trailer family.

Detachable Gooseneck Flatbed Trailers – Our line up of detachable neck flatbed trailers ranges from 30 to 55 ton capacities in two and three axle models with both spring ride and air ride. This flatbed trailer line is built to the highest standards with premium components throughout.
